Originally, there was two. There was the guy that could make the glass. (lets call him Pat), and the other that could do the sales. A great partnership, what ended up happening through; is Pat in all his wisdom, ended up stealing from the guy that was doing all the backend, sales, coding and setting the business up pouring money into it; as well as funding the glass.
So now it's just the one, who had to teach himself how to make the glass... after thousands of thrown at the wall attempts; they now resemble the end product that of the originals, and we couldn't be more proud.

2019
THE FIRST FIRE
With lockdowns hitting hard and people stuck indoors, creativity found a new outlet. SMOKEX was born out of frustration—frustration with weak, overpriced pipes that broke too easily. Our founders, spent countless hours perfecting a design that could withstand real-life use. The first Flute prototypes were shaped in home studios, setting the foundation for what would become the toughest hand-blown glass on the market.
2020
EXPERIMENTATION ERA
After countless late nights in the workshop, sold our first Flute—handed to a close friend who believed the product. But perfection... no. 🔥 We tested different flame sizes, glass thicknesses, and refining techniques. 🔬 Learning through cracked glass and failed attempts. 👥 Our first supporters gave real feedback, the road wasn’t smooth, but the foundation was being laid—one Flute at a time.
2021
BLUEPRINTS BREAKTHROUGHS
🛠 Brand Identity: We defined what SMOKEX stood for—durability, craftsmanship, and no-nonsense quality. 📦 Packaging & Presentation: We started designing premium packaging that matched the level of our Flutes. 💡 Concept to Reality: Sketches turned into prototypes, and ideas turned into real, hand-blown pieces. We weren’t just making pipes. We were building Flutes that last.
2022
BUSINESS BREAKUP & THEFT
Betrayal hit hard. A trusted partnership crumbled, and with it, designs, tools, and hard work were stolen. It was a brutal lesson, but not the end. SMOKEX was built tough—this was just another fire to walk through.
2024
REBUILDING SOLO
With nothing but raw skill and sheer determination, SMOKEX was rebuilt from the ground up. Every Flute is now stronger, smoother, and crafted with an obsession for perfection. This isn’t just glass—it’s a statement. A giant fuck you to the guy that went for the quick win, instead of the long-term plan. And we couldnt be more proud.
